:: "Behold The Ark" - 16mm experimental film.
A Work in Progress.
"Behold The Ark" will be a moving image work that explores The Ark - a sculptural object created by local artist woodsman David Blair and sits atop a hill in Argyll, Scotland in the village of Tighnabruaich. The Ark is a symbol that is bridges time crossing the boundaries of history weaving through mythology, legend and dream.
The Ark stands as a symbolic representation of our future if we do not collectively take radical action to drastically slow down humanity's impact on the planet we could be left outside as the flood waters rise again.
These research photographs were taken in 2020 on my first visit to The Ark.
I am currently seeking funding for the project.
